Habitat: Sonoran Desert. Lower Colorado River Valley Subdivision.
Substrate: Microhabitat in sandy/gravelly wash on north side of 50 ft. tall cliff. Cliff composed of unconsolidated metamorphic alluvium.
Associated Species: Parkinsonia sp., Senegalia greggii, Hyptis emoryi, Encelia farinosa, Justicia californica, numerous ephemeral herbs.
Description: Locally common in wash; annual herb.
Notes: Star Gilia.
