Mojave/Colorado transition. Desert wash community within the larger Ambrosia/Larrea desert scrub. Substrate of rhyolitic gravels. Assoc. with Bebbia juncea, Hymenoclea salsola, Baccharis brachyphylla, Acacia greggii, Psorothamnus spinosus, Krameria grayi, Penstemon pseudospectabilis, etc. Aspect SSE, with 7% slope.
Perennial, sprawling, prostrate to ascendeing herb, divaricately branching stems from base. 17 cm high by 9 dm wide, Glandular hairy throughout. leaves sticky, light green, deltate ovate. Fls pinkish white, funnel shaped, with a few glandular hairs. Occasional
