Habitat: On eroding hillslope just beneath Walnut Limestone mesatop near the Walnut-Paluxy contact. Soil predominantly sand with limestone influence. Quercus stellata and Quercus buckleyi woods Soil: Paluxy Formation/Walnut Formation. Sand with Eroding calcareous gravelly clay loam top soil
Description: Leaves more narrow than sheaths. Sepals glandular pubescence. Bracts glabrous but have marginal teeth.
