Flower diameter 40-60 mm, length 65-80 mm, stigma number 5-6, color pale yellow, outer perianth color light yellow to peach-yellow with red mid-stripe, inner perianth color dark yellow to peach-yellow with a red at base; petals have feathery edges and pointed tips; pads with spines gray with purple tips and purple with gray, the pads with purple tint at edges; Pads (series of three together) and fruits collected by Joni Ward and Ed Turcotte, 18 January 1998, pads gray-green mottled with purple tinge, spines absent on older pads, present on top of pad, white with black tips and black with white tips; fruits dry at maturity, tan to brown, 11-14 mm in diameter, 24-29 mm long, seeds amber.
