Locality: United States, Texas, Pecos, SE side of Diamond Y Draw, ca. 500 ft. SW of its crossing of St. Rt. 18 N of Ft. Stockton. Diamond Y Spring Preserve (TNC). Diamond Y Spring Quadrangle. Elev. 2710 - 2720 ft.
Habitat: Occasional in moderately alkaline presumably somewhat saline silty laom (Balmorhea association) on higher alluvial flat. In areas mechanically disturbed during assult on Tamarix.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
